Lamium amplexicaule, commonly known as common henbit, or greater henbit, is a species of Lamium native to Europe, Asia and northern Africa. It is a member of the mint family and has many related plants that are not edible. While this plant is edible, it has caused staggers in sheep, horses, and cattle, and should be fed sparingly, if at all.
