About

Honeysuckles are arching shrubs or twining vines in the genus Lonicera of the family Caprifoliaceae, native to northern latitudes in North America and Eurasia. The flowers can be fed in moderation, but the berries are toxic and the leaves contain saponins, which are commonly found in legumes and if fed in excess, can cause excessive salivation, diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite.
