Timothy hay is a great hay to regularly feed to torotises, particularly desert species. Be careful that it can contain thick, sharp pieces that can cause cuts in the mouth. It is best fed to older, larger tortoises. For a more suitable hay for younger tortoises, see Orchard Hay.
